heyya folks :D how was your day ? hheh . kali ini gue akan membahas film X MEN : WOLVERINE . waw . film apa tuh ? yaaa ini film tentang sejarah dari wolverine .
Film ini mengisahkan tentang awal mula Wolverine sang manusia Srigala Dua puluh tahun sebelum bergabung dengan tim X-Men, James Howlett atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai Logan adalah seorang tentara yang diikutkan dalam proyek pembuatan tentara super. Dalam proses ini, tubuh Logan kemudian disatukan dengan kerangka logam yang disebut adamantium dan membuatnya memiliki kekuatan super.
Logam yang menyatu dalam tubuh Logan ini bukan hanya memberikan kekuatan super saja namun bisa muncul sebagai cakar panjang yang seolah tumbuh dari dalam kepalan tangan Logan. Selain itu Logan juga memiliki kemampuan menyembuhkan diri dengan cepat sehingga tak bisa dilukai dengan senjata apa pun. Proyek awal ini juga menyertakan beberapa tentara lain termasuk Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber) dan Kayla (Lynn Collins). Bagian keempat yang sebenarnya adalah prequel dari trilogi X-MEN ini akan mengungkap misteri di balik potongan ingatan yang selalu menghantui Logan atau yang kemudian dikenal sebagai Wolverine saat ia bergabung dengan tim X-Men. Dalam film ini juga akan terungkap kisah di balik permusuhan antara Wolverine dan Sabretooth yang sebenarnya adalah Victor Creed sahabat baik Logan.

first. we talk about Race to Witch Mountain
Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson) is a cab driver in Las Vegas, who is picking up and dropping off passengers to the UFO convention at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. One of his passengers is Dr. Alex Friedman (Carla Gugino), a failed scientist who is giving speeches about legitimate scientific theories of UFOs and outer space. The next day, Bruno notices two children, Sara (AnnaSophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig) sitting in the back seat of his cab. They tell him they need to go to a certain destination and are willing to pay all they have ($15,000) to get there. They lead him to a run down house in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile, Major Henry Burke (Ciaran Hinds) is searching for information on the two aliens that landed some days earlier. The children explain to Bruno that they are aliens from a distant planet, who are sent to Earth by their parents because the government of their dying planet intends to attack and invade Earth so that their kind may live on there. They also explain that the object they obtained at the house contains the results of an experiment which their parents set up. The research from this experiment will save their planet without having to attack and invade Earth. However their planet's military prefer the idea of invading Earth and sent the Siphon assassin to stop them. They are next pursued by government agencies trying to retrieve the children for experiments. They are joined by Dr. Friedman at the UFO Expo. With help of one of Dr. Friedman's friends, the kids discover that their crashed spaceship has been relocated to a government base at Witch Mountain. At first the children are captured along with Bruno and Friedman. Nevertheless the two humans escape and come to rescue the kids. The Siphon causes a distraction by attacking the base. They manage to free the children and reach their ship. By running the Siphon over they escape but the Siphon hangs on and gets on board. Bruno and Seth battle the Siphon, unmasking him in the fight. Finally, Bruno knocks him into the ships engine. The kids drop Jack and Alex off and after a tearful goodbye, they head back to their ship, but give Bruno and Alex a device that will allow the kids to always find them. And Sara gives Jack the power to use his brain to the mind reading ability. In the post-credits scene, Bruno and Dr. Friedman (now a couple) are speaking at a UFO convention about their new successful book called "Race to Witch Mountain". The last scene shows them driving off in a car Bruno dreamed of getting honestly as he had mentioned to Friedman earlier—a Mustang similar to that driven by Steve McQueen in Bullitt. As they are about to leave, the device the kids gave Bruno activates, indicating that they may be returning.

Interpol agent Louis Salinger (Clive Owen) and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman (Naomi Watts) are determined to bring to justice one of the world's most powerful banks, the International Bank of Business and Credit (IBBC). Uncovering illegal activities including money laundering, arms trading, and the destabilization of governments, Salinger and Whitman's investigation takes them from Berlin to Milan, where the IBBC assassinates an Italian prime ministerial candidate. Following a lead on the assassin to New York City, Salinger is involved in a gunfight in the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. An ally of Salinger's in the NYPD tracks down the assassin's handler, who helps Salinger reach Istanbul, where the CEO of the IBBC is conducting an arms deal. After Salinger's plan to record the CEO's conversation and expose him as a fraud is foiled, Salinger faces off with him on a rooftop. After the CEO explains that killing him will accomplish nothing, since a hundred other unscrupulous bankers are ready to take his place, he is abruptly killed by an assassin hired by the surviving family of the same Italian politician he had ordered killed earlier in the film, ending the movie. However, during the credits, it is indicated that the bank continues with its plans and is successful, regardless of the death of its CEO. Pre-release trailers indicate that a source for the drama may be found in the quasi-historical corporate entity known as Permindex and the defunct Bank of Credit and Commerce International.
hmm, Louis Salinger cool, love him, love his act, love the MOVIE, and the story. Membuat gue menjadi semakin ingin masuk ke Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Indonesia jurusan KRIMINOLOGI . *sigh* . (dian) . karena di film ini banyak sekali teka teki dan rada sedikit berat, maka kita menyarankan buat yg emang nyari tontonan yg menyenangkan sebaiknya memilih film lain . Film ini bikin kita banyak mikir . seperti ini "yan, siapa deh yg bunuh ? tadi kan si loui" atau seperti ini "eh, kok dia jadi gitu sih?" . ini dalam pandangan kita berdua lhoo yaaa . (atau otak kita berdua aja kali ya yang ga nyampe. hihi)
